Real Oviedo defender Dani Calvo today appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón.
After starting the first three matches of the season, the defender stated that "even though we haven't got the wins I've felt good. I know that we are going to improve. It's a long season and my performances are going to get better."
Regarding what has been preventing the side from getting wins, the defender believes that "luck hasn't gone our way. We deserved to win both home games, and we have to keep going in order to get the victory. We train hard for it and we are not feeling anxious. We are on the right track. Not conceding helps a lot. We are going to get the victory soon."
With the transfer window now closed, Dani Calvo declared that Real Oviedo has "a deep and competitive squad. Over the course of the season we are going to have opportunities to play and show our worth. We all have to push. There's a high standard and we work well together." In addition, regarding Arribas, the defender highlighted that "he's the club captain and a leader. He supports us a lot off the field. It's a pleasure for us to have him here."
Finally, regarding the next opponent, Huesca, Dani highlighted that "it's always special for me. It's the team of my city and I have a lot of fondness for them. However, I play for Real Oviedo and I want what is best for us."
