Point sharing for Girona FC and Real Oviedo in a crazy match that had everything. The blues went up 0-2, but Michel's side came back with a brace from Stuani and a goal from Ounahi. When it seemed the home team would take all three points, Carmo equalized in the last play to save a point for the team from the capital of the Principality.

Aarón Escandell, Nacho Vidal, Carmo, Costas, Javi López, Colombatto, Dendoncker, Ovie, Chaira, Viñas, and Rondón. That’s how Real Oviedo lined up at Montilivi. Carrión made several changes to the starting eleven and also to the system, opting to start with two forwards. Although Oviedo started well on the pitch, the first dangerous action came from Girona through Roca. Aarón had to make a great save to prevent the first goal, and the response was immediate. Viñas, with a header, troubled the home goalkeeper, and shortly after, another header from the Uruguayan struck the arm of a Girona FC defender. The action was reviewed by VAR, and the referee awarded a penalty. The "9" took responsibility and blasted the ball past Gazzaniga from the penalty spot to make it 0-1.

After the break, Reina came on for Ovie, and Luis Carrión's team struck again. Rondón, with a precise header, capitalized on a corner kick taken by Colombatto to score the second. Ilic and Sibo were the next to enter the field. The match was looking very favorable for the team from the capital of the Principality, although Girona hadn’t said their last word. Stuani, from the penalty spot, and Ounahi, with a stunning goal, leveled the match in 20 minutes, much to the blues' disappointment. The final blow came in the 90th minute with Stuani’s second penalty goal.

When it seemed all was lost, Carmo took advantage of a clearance from Gazzaniga to make it 3-3 and ultimately rescue a point in a crazy match that had everything, where Real Oviedo failed to capitalize on their initial two-goal lead. Now, with no time to rest, it’s time for the Copa del Rey to face Ourense CF.
