The Oviedo team came out determined from the initial whistle. Four minutes in, Andrea Sordo created the first great chance of the match with a powerful shot that forced Rocío Romano to intervene. A very clear opportunity for our team.
The Barça B team responded in the 14th minute with a play by Anna Quer from the right that Laura Martínez had to clear. The blue goalkeeper appeared again in the 38th minute when she saved a shot from Daniela, deflecting it to a corner with a great intervention, during a final stretch where the visitors were pressing. In the meantime, the blues also had opportunities: Raissa Mbappé tried her luck from afar in the 24th minute upon seeing Rocío Romano slightly off her line, but her shot went wide. The first half ended in a goalless draw after a very solid performance by Real Oviedo, who stood up to the Barcelona Football Club B team.
After the restart, Andrés Clavijo made the first substitution, bringing on Vera Rico. However, just two minutes later, Laia Martret showcased her brilliance to put Barcelona Football Club B ahead with a 0-1 lead. The blues responded immediately. Real Oviedo enjoyed their best moments, and in the 63rd minute, a great combination play ended with a cross from the right and a shot by Raissa that went just wide.
Raissa's Double
But within just a minute, the visitors struck again. Ainoa Gómez scored the 1-2, and shortly after, Rosalía extended the lead to 1-3. Shortly after, Raissa appeared again to score her second goal of the morning, reducing the deficit to 2-3.
As Real Oviedo sought the equalizer, Natalia Escot scored the fourth for the Barça B team, a result that would remain final despite the late attempts and the double substitution with the introduction of Nati Cano and Sheila Elorza in the final stretch.
