Real Oviedo keeper Nereo Champagne now knows the extent of his injury, having undertaken the relevant medical tests which he had been waiting for.

The goalkeeper has suffered an injury to the meniscus in his left knee, which will force him to undergo surgery in the coming days. The operation will take place at Clínica Asturias.
