Real Oviedo goalkeeper, Nereo Champagne, underwent minicus surgery on his left knee this morning.
The operation, which took place at Clínica Asturias, was a success. The procedure was performed by Doctor Moral and Doctor Manuel Rodríguez, the latter resposible for Real Oviedo's medical services.
Nereo is now recovering from the procedure, and is expected to leave the clinic later this evening and spend the night at home.
