Real Oviedo player, Yoel Bárcenas, has today been given leave from the first-team squad.
The international will soon travel to his country to participate in the Gold Cup with Panama, who are coached by the former Real Oviedo forward, Dely Valdés.
Having turned down calls from his national team several times during the current season, demonstrating a great commitment to and involvement with Real Oviedo, the club has understood that it must reciprocate, and has thus released him from his commitments with the first team.
As such, Yoel Bárcenas will no longer take part in training sessions this season, nor will he participate in the last two matches against Rayo Majadahonda and CA Osasuna.
