El Requexón today played host to the latest league fixture for Real Oviedo Vetusta, which saw Javi Rozada's side triumph 3-2 over Arenas Club de Getxo. In what was a high-tempo match, Real Oviedo Vetusta came back after conceding to the visitors in the opening stages, surging forward late on to complete the comeback. Arenas struck early in the first half from a set piece. Two minutes later, Rober ended some fine solo play by scoring the equaliser for the hosts. Edu Cortina added a second for Vetusta, who dominated possession and looked to their wide men to create danger. The away side found an equaliser in the 32nd minute, meaning the teams went in for halftime at 2-2. The pattern of the game remained the same in the second half, with Real Oviedo Vetusta throwing men forward in attack, providing the tempo for the match and creating the more dangerous chances. In the final minute of the clash, Javi Mier made the score 3-2, giving Vetusta the three points.

This win keeps Real Oviedo Vetusta involved in the playoff race. The next fixture will see them travel to Navarre to face Izarra.
