Real Oviedo's coach, Juan Antonio Anquela, appeared in the Press Room this morning following the first team's training session at El Requexón.

The Jaén-born coach began by acknowledging the importance of a match in which "failing is not an option. There's no turning back. We know that this match decides if we stay alive or think about doing something else." After the loss at El Sadar, Anquela understands that "the losing path is that one. Obviously, we made mistakes, but during many parts of the match, things were going well. Playing like a team, like we did last Saturday. Thinking that we are going to play a very important match, and that we have to be all in and very focused to try to win it."

When asked about the need to win the remaining three games, Anquela was blunt, assuring that "I only look at Saturday. I have always said that this would continue until the last minute of the last match, and hopefully it does. It would indicate that we are still alive. This week, the only thing we can do is win against Sevilla Atlético and then think about everything else."

Regarding possible changes, the coach explained that "we will try to adapt for our best interests. We are going to continue believing in what we do, working as we have each day. You could ask this team to play better, but this team always fights and bites, even more so here at home. From thefirst moment, we are going to be the Real Oviedo that we all love."

Regarding the opponent, Sevilla Atlético, he said, "It worries me that people might think we are playing against an easy opponent. They have always been a serious team. They have been at their best in every game. Things went badly for us there. And on that note, they are men that have never shown their age, a firm, well-organized team that knows what it wantsand with many alternatives. They have no fear and no tension, that's why they win more. They have never stopped competing."

Finally, and with respect to the mood he expects this Saturday at Tartiere, Anquela is aware that "people know that we are still there. As long as we have life, we have to go together and fight until the last second, that at best, will take us to a celebration. When it's all over, they can kill us if they want, but when it's over," he concluded.
