Real Oviedo Head Coach, Álvaro Cervera, appeared in the Press Room this Friday, speaking to the media present at El Requexón. The Coach talked first about this weekend's fixture against Racing of Santander and about the final two matches of the season. “We are calm and we will try to finish as well as possible and keep competing. We will try to win the two remaining matches in order to finish well,” he explained.

"In the last home match we went in for halftime 2-0 down and people didn’t like that. It’s at home and, with it being the last match, we will try to let the fans keep a good memory of the team,” he added.

Looking ahead to next season, the Real Oviedo Coach stated that, “my idea is to have a smaller squad and for it to be supported by the B-team. For everyone to be available and for everyone to have their role. When there are problems, let's use academy players."

Lastly, Álvaro Cervera discussed the players who “for their conduct have deserved to play more. There are players who have deserved to play more because of their day-to-day attitude, and they deserve to play these matches, because they have been professionals.”
