Abel Bretones appeared before the media this morning, minutes after receiving the 'Jugador Cinco Estrellas' Player of the Season award for the 2022/23 campaign.
The defender seemed satisfied with his progression in the first team, saying that “confidence makes you bring out the best version of yourself.” Asked about his future, he was clear that “I have a contract and I am very happy here. That is all I can say, I am focused on Real Oviedo.”
Ahead of next Saturday’s match against Levante, the defender highlighted that “we always prepare for matches in the best way and we’re going to go there to compete, regardless of what’s at stake.”
