Real Oviedo Head Coach Álvaro Cervera appeared before the Press this Wednesday at El Requexón. The Gaffer, whose mind is now focused on the Cartagena match, began by evaluating the fixture. "It is going to be a difficult match. It's a team that got off to a very good start, and which has just beaten Eibar 3-0 away from home. We are coming off the back of a loss and it will be a difficult match, because they are a dangerous opponent."

The Gaffer was also asked about his team's form during this stage of the season. "You always have the aim of improving and of finishing as high up the table as possible, but the main thing now is saving ourselves. I am going to try to leave the team as high up the table as possible and make sure that as many players that will be important next year as possible play, and see where we get to."

In addition, Álvaro Cervera analysed the team's current league position, stating that "the division is very even every year. It's very difficult to break into the top five, and then sixth place is a little more open. It seems like the teams at the bottom are going to find it hard to get out of there, but I'm sure that another team that can't get wins will be sucked in there too."

After being asked about Borja Sánchez, the Coach highlighted that "we are going to start using him like any other player. He is special, and that type of player is either ready or it's not. And now he is almost ready."
