Real Oviedo Head Coach Álvaro Cervera appeared before the media this morning in the Press Room at El Requexón. Asked first about the Asturian derby, he stated that "the team is going into it with two points. It's a difficult situation in the league standings, but I have the feeling that we have turned the corner."

"We've not made a slight turn, but rather we have completely turned around what we were doing badly. We have lost time on things that weren't taking us anywhere, but now we've gone back to what we're good at. I like this idea more, I think we look more solid."

With respect to tomorrow's match against Real Sporting de Gijón, the Gaffer highlighted that "I've got the eleven more or less clear in my head. The only thing that might change is one player for another, but with the same characteristics. You never know in a derby. We have to stay calm, because we are going to grow a lot with time."

Finally, discussing tomorrow's opponent, Álvaro Cervera explained that "I thought they had a great squad last year but they have lost important players this summer. Now they have a clearer idea of how to play and they are a more predictable team, but, in my opinion, they are more solid."
