Real Oviedo officially presented its new players Alexandru Ișfan and Aritz Aldasoro on the morning of this Friday, July 17. The event took place at 1:15 PM in the GAM press room at the Carlos Tartiere Stadium.

The two footballers appeared before the media alongside the club's new sporting director, David Fernández, in a press conference where they shared their first impressions as Oviedo players.

During the press conference, Alexandru Ișfan and Aritz Aldasoro answered questions from various Asturian media outlets present in the room, discussing their arrival at Real Oviedo, their goals for the new season, and the excitement with which they face this new chapter at the Carlos Tartiere.

"I am happy to be here. I will give my all in every match and training session. I knew this is a very big and demanding club with a great fanbase. I was really eager to join Real Oviedo," said the Romanian forward initially.

For his part, Aldasoro highlighted, "It is a great honor and responsibility to come here and represent this club. I was very eager to arrive, and I have been warmly welcomed. I consider myself a fairly complete and hardworking footballer. I like to make my teammates better. I am a team player."

"It was not my intention to hurt anyone, and I apologize if I did. I wanted to refer to a healthy rivalry since, at Racing, all the northern matches were special. I only wanted to mention that rivalry, nothing more. I am aware of who the eternal rival is here, and I am eager to play an Asturian derby and give it my all," Aritz concluded in relation to the words he expressed in his farewell statement from Real Racing Club.

With this official presentation, Real Oviedo continues shaping its sports project for the 2026/27 season, incorporating two players who are now part of the first team's roster.
