Real Oviedo has reached an agreement with Botafogo, from Brazil's Serie A Betano, for the loan signing of Chris Ramos, who becomes a new player for the blue entity until June 2027.

Born in Cádiz on January 18, 1997, Chris Ramos developed in the youth ranks of CE Mercadal before making the leap to San Fernando CD. His progression led him to Real Valladolid, where he debuted in professional football and began a career marked by his physical strength, work ethic, and goal-scoring instinct.

After stints with Sevilla Atlético and CD Badajoz, the forward found consistency at CD Lugo, where he played three seasons in the Second Division and scored 17 goals with the Lucense team. His performance opened the doors to Cádiz CF, where he spent another three seasons between the First and Second Divisions, scoring 16 goals and establishing himself as a key forward in Spanish football.

In the summer of 2025, he embarked on a new adventure in Brazil's Serie A Betano to wear the Botafogo jersey. Despite an injury that prevented him from having the desired continuity during the last season, the Cádiz-born striker now joins Real Oviedo to strengthen the Carbayón attack, bringing quality, strength, experience, and goals.
