Real Oviedo centre back, Osvaldo Alanís, today appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón.

Having returned to training with the squad, the Mexican assured that, “I feel good and am working with the team. Physically I’m fine and ready to be able to play.”

Regarding his absence, the centre back said that, “it’s difficult when you get injured. You want to play. I supported the team from the outside. I’m ready to make myself available to the Coach now. I have to make the most of my opportunities.”

With respect to this coming month for Real Oviedo, which sees three home matches and one away fixture, the defender commented that, “it will be tough, but we can only think about the next match. Depor will be a difficult opponent.” In addition, regarding the approaching Sporting de Gijón clash, Alanís said, “they’ve told me about it, but I don’t think we can let it distract us from the Depor game. We are concentrating onRiazor.”

Asked about the the consistency that Juan Antonio Anquela’s side is looking for, Alanís believes that, “it’s about defending and attacking. We all have to work for the team to win matches. We work on a weekly basis to achieve good things.”

Finally, following his LaLiga 1|2|3 debut, the defender commented that, “I’d heard a lot about it and it’s not the same watching it as playing it. The competition and demands are surprising,” he concluded.
