Real Oviedo and Aar贸n Escandell have reached an agreement to extend the blue goalkeeper's contract with the Carbay贸n club until June 2029.
The goalkeeper joined the Oviedo team in the summer of 2024 and, from the start of the league, delivered an outstanding performance. His extraordinary 2024/25 season was crucial in Real Oviedo's historic promotion to the First Division, establishing himself as one of the team's key players thanks to his decisive saves and reliability in goal.
His excellent level did not go unnoticed in the elite of Spanish football, and Aar贸n Escandell continued to deliver highly commendable performances in the First Division, reaffirming himself as one of the most outstanding goalkeepers of the past season.
With this renewal until 2029, Real Oviedo secures the continuity of a goalkeeper who has earned the affection of the fans and will continue to defend the Carbay贸n goal in the coming seasons.
