Real Oviedo turned 95 on 26th March, marking 95 years full of life with a week full of emotional acts. The week concluded with the match against Ponferradina, in which our players wore special commemorative shirts to mark the occasion.
As has become the norm in recent years, the shirts will have a charitable aim. They will be auctioned, and Real Oviedo will donate all funds raised to 'Cáritas', an organisation which supports the development of people and communities and especially those of the poorest and most-excluded members of our society. The auctions, which thanks to eBay will not charge commissions, will be available for seven days (until Friday 9th April).
The club's 95th Anniversary shirt bears the logo chosen to mark the occasion, which was inspired by the 'Jorobu' scoreboard. The scoreboard is flanked on either side by the colours of Real Oviedo's founder clubs, Real Club Deportivo Oviedo and Real Stadium Ovetense.
