Real Oviedo Head Coach José Ángel Ziganda appeared before the media this morning, ahead of his team's cup match tomorrow against Andratx. He explained that the club is approaching the fixture with "complete seriousness and the respect demanded by the club, the competition, and the fans. It's a great opportunity for everyone to prove themselves, given the difficulty of these matches. We have the experience of playing one-legged knockout fixtures from last year, and we saw great evenness and tight results. It's going to be hard-fought."
Regarding tomorrow's encounter and the fact that the game will be played on an artificial surface, the Gaffer reasoned that "the conditions are different to what we are used to, but they are within the rules and are not an excuse. We trained on a similar surface yesterday, but that was more due to the rain that had fallen and the state of the pitches. We preferred to use that option."
Asked about the case of Luismi and whether he could get game time in the cup, Ziganda said that "we need him, because we are very light on numbers in that position. Jimmy and Brugman are carrying the weight of matches in the knowledge of the importance of the area of the pitch. Given the position, it's very important for us to have Luismi available for these final matches of the year. We need him in the best condition possible."
