To mark World Breast Cancer Day, which took place on Monday 19th October, Real Oviedo will use today's match against Rayo Vallecano to pay tribute to all those warriors who show their bravest side and fill us all with life.
Los Azules' players will emerge for the match wearing a shirt featuring all of the letters in the pink traditionally associated with the battle against the disease, instead of the usual white. The shirts, which will only be worn by the starting eleven which comes out on the pitch and poses for pre-match photos with them, will be removed ahead of kick-off. Once disinfected, the shirts will be auctioned to raise funds for the battle against breast cancer. Meanwhile, the Real Oviedo captain will wear a pink
armband during the match against the Madrid-based side, in support of all those who have suffered and are suffering from this illness.
More information about the auction will be announced in the coming days.
