The first team of Real Oviedo returned to training this morning at the facilities of the El Requexón Sports City, following yesterday's draw in Montilivi (3-3) against Girona. Luis Carrión's team is already focusing on their next commitment, the debut in the Copa del Rey, which will see them face Ourense CF this Tuesday in Galicia. The match will take place at 7:00 PM.
Today's session was marked by recovery work for the players who started in Girona, while the rest of the squad completed a more intense training session, including ball exercises and tactical drills.
The Oviedo team will have only two training sessions before the match in Ourense: today's and Monday's. After tomorrow's training, the blue squad will head to Galicia to face the first round of the tournament.
Real Oviedo faces a demanding week, in which they will also aim to "make good on the point" earned in Montilivi next Monday, when they host Osasuna at the Carlos Tartiere in a new league matchday.
