The Ciudad de Tudela stadium this afternoon played host to the clash between CD Tudelano and Real Oviedo Vetusta, as part of Matchday 7 in the Segunda División B. The match ended in a 1-3 win for Javi Rozada’s side, who are now six games unbeaten.

The B team started both halves better than their opponent, producing a professional performance and showing their credentials against a Tudelano side who were five unbeaten going into the match. Vetusta took the lead through Ernesto after just three minutes. The two teams alternated control of the match during the first half, although Real Oviedo Vetusta always seemed well-positioned. Javi Rozada’s lads looked to link up, make the most of their pace on the wings and apply pressure after losing the ball. Halftime arrived with the score 0-1. Real Oviedo Vetusta struck first once again in the second half. After some fine link-up play, Casi headed home to double the lead. Real Oviedo Vetusta continued to push forward, aware of the importance of scoring another to seal the win. Casi found the net once more after some fine solo play on the break. Tudelano then cut the deficit from the spot. Despite that strike, however, the Carbayón B team managed to cut out all the dangerous attacks that followed, and picked up another victory. ‘Los Azules’ are now six games unbeaten and sit fifth in the table.

Real Oviedo Vetusta will play Gimnástica de Torrelavega at home next. The match will take place at 12:00 on Sunday, at El Requexón.
