Real Oviedo Vetusta faced Rayo Cantabria on Thursday in their first friendly of this preseason. After two weeks of training, Roberto Aguirre's team got a good look at a team they will face later this season in Group 1 of the Second Division.
With several new faces following recent signings, the coach started the following eleven: Miguel Narváez, Espi, Arturo, Martín, Marcos Lopes, Tejón, Curro, Berzal, Lamine, Pelayo and Joaquín.
From the start, Vetusta tried to take the initiative and establish a rhythm, similar to last season in Tercera.
