Garra Real Fest on 31st July at the Carlos Tartiere stadium will host a unique event that will once again turn the stadium into the epicentre of Real Oviedo passion, as well as officially presenting the club's second and third kits.

The highlight of Garra Fest will be a three-team international football tournament between Real Oviedo, Villarreal CF and Genoa CFC, as well as of course a tribute to a man who came here to fulfil his dreams, Santiago Cazorla. It will be the perfect opportunity for Real Oviedo fans to watch their team play against top-tier rivals at home in the middle of preseason.

The event, which unlike matches, can only be experienced live, will be hosted by sports journalists and commentators Héctor Ruiz and Alba Oliveros, who will guide our audience through a day full of excitement, surprises and special moments.

Football is at the core, but Garra Real Fest is much more than that. It will be a festival of music, amusement and Carbayón spirit, with confirmed attendees including former Real Madrid player and current Director of Institutional Relations for the club, Emilio Butragueño, as well as former FC Barcelona player and coach Xavi Hernández. Also attending will be Marcos Senna, Director of Institutional Relations for Villarreal, among others, all of whom will be marking Real Oviedo's return to the top flight of Spanish football.

In an event filled with humour and nostalgia created by Joaquín Pajarón, along with the help of former Real Oviedo players, will recreate iconic goals from the club's history on the pitch at Tartiere Stadium. Marianín's 1,000th goal for Real Oviedo, Diego Cervero's header against Cádiz and Bango's European goal, among others, will be recreated live for fans by the actual players who scored these iconic goals.

The Garra Real Fest is a genuine festival, and like any other summer event, there will be no shortage of music. La Fuga and Melendi will headline the event, entertaining the crowd in the stands at the Tartiere with their songs. There they will be able to enjoy the Real Oviedo Centenary anthem live for the first time ever. More music will be provided by Javi Robles, the Banda de Gaitas Ciudad de Oviedo, Geri y Los Buscavidas... and what would a festival be without its commemorative glass and wristband? All attendees will receive a festival kit upon entering Carlos Tartiere stadium.

One of the club's sponsors, Mahou, will be responsible for quenching the thirst of thirsty Oviedistas. In addition to this, the beer brand will hold a prize draw on its social media page, where 20 lucky winners will take home a Real Oviedo-Special Edition bottle.

The more adventurous fans will also have their place. A small tattoo studio will transfer to Carlos Tartiere to immortalise the passion in the hearts of fans who participate in a prize draw to receive a tattoo.

To top it all off, Oviedo’s sky will be lit up with a spectacular drone show recreating key moments from the club's history. It will be a visual, auditory and exciting experience that will put the finishing touches on an unforgettable day for the entire Oviedo family at the festival which will last more than four hours.
Garra Real Fest, a celebration of football, but above all a tribute to a century of history and a hopeful look towards the future.
