Real Oviedo Vetusta made the trip to Galicia this Sunday to face Racing Club Villalbés, in the first match of the second half of the season. The B team went into the encounter with the objective of picking up a victory which would move them away from the relegation zone, and Jaime Álvarez opted for a starting eleven made up of Marco, Marco Esteban, Aimar Collante, Omar Falah, Iván, Yayo, Sesé, Izan, S. Miguélez, Cheli and Xavi Sola.

The first half was an even affair, although Los Azules had the best chance. Cheli won the ball back well in the opposition's half before playing the ball to Santi Miguélez, whose shot went just wide. Racing Club Villalbés also looked to threaten, but Marco was forced into very little work during the first half.

After the interval Xavi Sola had two dangerous opportunities but his efforts were off target, and the score remained 0-0. As the minutes ticked by Jaime Álvarez made his first change, bringing Lamine on in place of Iván. The best chance for the hosts saw Marco deny a header from a fine left-wing cross.

Vetusta looked to find a way through with crosses into the box during the final stages, but they were eventually unable to find a goal as a reward. This draw sees the B team add another point to the tally, with thoughts now turning to the weekend's fixture against Gimnástica at El Requexón.
