Real Oviedo's first-team squad today received hundreds of letters at El Requexón, written by students from schools all over Asturias who have visited the Carlos Tartiere stadium on an English-language tour during this academic year.

During the tour of the stadium, while in the Press Room, students write a letter in English to the Real Oviedo player of their choice, with the help of the guides.

Today, Real Oviedo's players, Lucas and Borja Sánchez, personally received the heartfelt letters. They, on behalf of the squad, gratefully accepted the letters from the hands of the two guides who usually conduct visits in English for the schoolchildren, the British James Harriman, and the Canadian Laurence Beaulieu.

Real Oviedo has been offering guided tours of the Carlos Tartiere Stadium for the past eight years. These tours, conducted entirely in English with native guides, serve as a valuable educational experience for students from schools all over Asturias. It's a visit that not only introduces them to the Carlos Tartiere facilities but also complements their school programmes, promoting bilingualism.

During the visit, the students enter the pitch, see the changing rooms, and get to know the Press Room, the Mixed Zone, and the club's museum. They briefly learn about the organization and internal development of a La Liga match and the history of Real Oviedo.

The visit is conducted entirely in English, and the explanations are provided to the students by native English-speaking guides, to whom the students can ask their doubts or curiosities related to the world of football in general and Real Oviedo in particular.
