The Historical Heritage Area of the Real Oviedo Foundation has organised an auction of Real Oviedo items to offer our fans and collectors worldwide some objects that are not often available to the public. All proceeds will be donated in their entirety to the social purposes of the Real Oviedo Foundation.
Over two weeks, items up for auction include match-worn jerseys from Real Oviedo players such as Santi Cazorla, Alemão, and Colombatto, all signed by the players. Fans can also bid on balls signed by the entire first team or a corner flag from the Carlos Tartiere stadium.
Also available for bidding are the armbands of Real Oviedo's men's and women's first teams, signed by the four captains of each team, and pairs of boots of players Viti, Bretones, and Homenchenko. Homenchenko's boots were used during the U-20 World Cup in 2023, where he was crowned champion with the Uruguayan national team.
Other unique items are historical photos with the autographs of Oviedo legends, such as Carlos or César, and the reproduction, on a metal sheet of stone, of a ticket for the match of the official inauguration of the current Carlos Tartiere stadium.
Among the most curious items are an old presidential chair from the Director's Box at the Carlos Tartiere stadium and a blue seat from one of the stands of the ground.
Starting today, 30th May, the auction will remain open until 15th June on the Catawiki portal. Founded in 2008 in the Netherlands as a community for collectors, Catawiki has been organising weekly online auctions across various categories since 2011.
It currently auctions more than 65,000 objects weekly, which a team must approve of collecting experts before bidding commences. Catawiki's collaboration with the Real Oviedo Foundation is their first such work with a Spanish football club.
