The English-language book, 'Real Oviedo: A Club Like No Other' is aimed at younger readers and available for purchase from today. The book talks about the past and present of our club, with tons of photos, quizzes and games for them to enjoy.
Participants in the first round of the club's summer campus today became the first group to enjoy the short book, as they finished their turn at the campus. They received their copy of the book this afternoon alongside the diplomas presented to them on their final day.
All of them will now have the opportunity to make the most of their summer holidays to learn some English or improve their level, while also gaining an overview of Real Oviedo's history and entertaining themselves with the fun activities which can be found in the final pages of the book.
Over the course of the coming weeks, every participant in the four remaining rounds of our summer camp will receive the book alongside their diploma at the end of their weekly turn.
The book is also available to all 'Oviedistas' from today from the club's official shop at 22 Calle Caveda, and is priced at €9.
This book, in addition to spreading knowledge of the club today and its history, aims to awaken interest in a language as important in today's world as English. It aims to do so through a fun book which speaks to the little ones through football; a topic which hugely grabs their interest, and will surely prove attention-grabbing for many schoolchildren.
