Real Oviedo midfielder Sergio Tejera appeared in the Press Room this morning after the team had trained at the Carlos Tartiere.

The Catalan began by evaluating the importance of getting back to playing at home, saying that "playing at the Tartiere is important. We want to win for ourselves and for our fans. We are working and the results aren't coming. It's annoying. We are excited to get three points." In addition, regarding the team's current situation, the midfielder commented that "we are making mistakes, but we are doing some things well. We have to clear our heads, forget about the past and go for the three points. We are creating chances, but we have to take them. It's all about what happens in the two areas. We have to be focused in our own box, and clinical in the opponent's area."

Asked about the number of red cards Real Oviedo has received in recent matches, Tejera stated that "we all know the new rules. Fouls from behind are punished by a red, and we have to be careful."

Regarding the next opponent, Elche, the Carbayón player highlighted that "we know all about them. They've been playing good football. Yesterday we analysed the mistakes we made in Miranda. We saw the match and know how to make the most of the things we did well."

Finally, asked about the atmosphere around the club, the Catalan reasoned that "it's normal. We are in an unexpected position and we understand the fans' reaction. We aren't achieving what we expected. We have to keep
working in the same way, giving 200% and transmitting it to the crowd." He concluded by saying that "we get spectacular welcomes here in our home and we have to make sure the fans are with the team. We are going to get the fans onside right from the start."
