Today, Tuesday 31 May marks the first anniversary of Real Oviedo’s promotion to the second división. 365 days ago, the Blues faced Cádiz in the away leg of their playoff encounter, triumphing 1-0 in the Ramón de Carranza Stadium. David Fernández grabbed the match-winning goal in the 52th minute of the clash, ensuring Real Oviedo’s return to La Liga after a twelve year absence.
