Real Oviedo lost 0-5 to CA Osasuna in a game where Héctor Nespral, Real Oviedo Vetusta's skipper, made his debut in the starting XI of the first team squad in Liga Adelante; besides, U19s player Viti was lined up again.
The Blues coped with the visitors' attacks until the 37th minutes, when CA Osasuna took the lead. Prior to that, Héctor had made an attempt inside the visitors' penalty box that was deflected off Josete's back.
In the second half, Peña substituted an injured Dani Bautista and Real Oviedo Academy's player, José Martinez, made his debut playing for the first team but he was sent off soon after that when a penalty kick was awarded to CA Osasuna, who scored their second goal then. Although Los Carbayones tried hard to fight back with more heart and soul than good play, the visitors went on to net in other three goals and sealed their qualification for the promotion play-offs to La Liga.
A bitter end to a season where Real Oviedo finish ninth on the table on their return to the second tier of Spanish football.
