Today saw the second preseason match of the summer for Real Oviedo Vetusta, as the team fell to a 1-0 home defeat against CD Toledo.
Jaime Álvarez opted for a starting eleven made up of Diego; Charbel, Lucas Laso, Merayo, Osky; Isaac, Joselu, Pablo; Iván, Chus and Álvaro, and the team went into the match with the clear aim of continuing to build up the players' game time and workload. Berlanga, Samuel Nnoshiri, Mantovu, Marc Alegre, Javi Moreno, Gabri Rabanillo, René, Gonzalo, Eloy Ordóñez and Mangel also featured. CD Toledo scored the only goal of the game just before the interval, although Jaime Álvarez's team did not cease in its efforts to equalise during the second half.
Los Azules will be back in action at 19:00 this Saturday, when they face Real Avilés at Luarce.
