A group of students from Leopoldo Alas, Clarín, Secondary School in Oviedo today enjoyed a fun, educational experience at the Carlos Tartiere stadium, which served to reinforce their bilingual education.
During their visit to the stadium, the students received all of the explanations in English from a British tour guide. The students had the opportunity to ask him their questions and make general comments about the world of football and Real Oviedo in particular, also entirely in English.
The students visited the pitch, saw the changing rooms, and explored the Press Room, Mixed Zone, and Club Museum, as they got a behind-the-scenes experience.
Real Oviedo has been offering schools guided tours of the Carlos Tartiere with explanations in English since the 2016-17 season. Students from all around Asturias have been able to get to know the inner workings of the Carlos Tartiere, through an educational visit which is adapted to their needs and serves to complement school programmes promoting bilingual learning.
