With the kick-off time for the second round of the Copa del Rey now announced, Real Oviedo now knows the schedule for the start of 2021. The side will come up against RCD Mallorca and then twice face Málaga CF.
Ziganda's team are currently enjoying a few rest days. They will begin 2021 at home, welcoming RCD Mallorca to the NMR Carlos Tartiere on 3rd January. The fixture will kick off at 21:00 on the first Sunday of the year. Los Azules will then travel to Andalucia to play Málaga in the second round of the Copa del Rey. The match will kick off at 21:00 on Wednesday 6th January at La Rosaleda. Real Oviedo will then return to the same location three days later, on 9th January, but this time for the LaLiga Smartbank fixture. The second match against the Andalusians will kick off at 18:15.
These first three fixture of 2021 will see Ziganda's team attempt to continue with the improving results and atmosphere they enjoyed in the last couple of months.
