Real Oviedo Head Coach Javi Rozada appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón ahead of the match against Tenerife.

Following the draw against Zaragoza, the Coach analysed the state of the squad, stating that "we are doing fine. We were talking to the players who are available for tomorrow. The only doubt is Lucas, who had a virus. Some players who didn't play on Sunday will come in, but it will be a recognisable team. We took a step forward against Zaragoza and dominated for long periods."

Regarding the positives he has taken from Sunday's match against Zaragoza, Rozada highlighted that "the team suffered setbacks and got back up. We were closer to winning the match than to losing it and we demonstrated authority. This is the right path and the feeling is that we were the better side."

Asked about the possibility of a change in formation to one with five at the back, the Oviedo-born coach believes that "it's an option that we have. We had been working on that system with the B team and we've looked at it. We will keep working, and if we believe it's right, then we will use five." In addition, with respect to the possibility of Omar Ramos getting minutes at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López, Rozada said that "he's a player with a lot of talent and he has to step up. He's done quite a lot in football. I speak to him and tell him good things."

With respect to the next opponent, Tenerife, Javi Rozada said that "when they get the ball off you they are very organised and use important positional play. They keep possession for long periods and it will be a match with similarities and differences to the Zaragoza game. We have to be brave, win the ball and hope that football gives us what we need."

Finally, asked about the role that Javi Fernández and Arribas are going to play for the team this season, the Coach commented that "Javi has a lot of ability, is confident and is going to give us a lot. Alejandro has to
contribute experience. He needs continuity in order to be able to demonstrate the experience that he has. We are looking for the whole team to have competition."
