Real Oviedo Head Coach Javi Rozada today appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón.
As is normal in the build-up to a match, the Coach began by offering an update on the state of the squad, saying that "the lads are doing well. Mossa and Lolo are out (suspended), as well as Marco (Sangalli) with the pain he's suffering.  He is undergoing tests.  Saúl (Berjón) isn't 100%, but we will decide tomorrow.  It's true that we have some doubts, and we want players to be at 100%.  We will do a warm-up session tomorrow and see how the players are."
Asked about the shape the defence will take with Mossa out, the Oviedo-born coach reasoned that "it's possible that Christian could play at full back, but Diegui and Lucas can play there too.  They are quick players who defend well."  In addition, regarding Arribas' return to the matchday squad, Rozada said that "he came here to be important.  He is an experienced player.  He's not at 100% and he will keep training.  He might be ready to start next week, but he will be in the matchday squad tomorrow.  He is going to wait his turn and help us."
With respect to the middle of the park, the Coach confirmed that "it's between Edu (Cortina) and Jimmy.  They are players who have grown up with me and either one could play.  Whoever it is will do well, and I am calm."
Asked what the team was missing in Málaga, the Coach reasoned that "we have to read matches better and play in the opposition's half.  We didn't read what the match required in Málaga.  You have to be very practical in this division and every match comes down to small details.  We can't allow our opponents into the game, and we have to push forward.  I don't think we should sit deep, because that breathes life into the opponent.  The team has to improve.  I want the team to feel comfortable and play an expansive game."
Speaking about the next opponent, Almería, Javi Rozada highlighted that "they are a team with good players who are very good at making the most of small details.  Almería create chances out of nothing and arrive with confidence.  They have a team to fight for promotion, but we are ready for the battle.  If we are at the level we had been then we will win the match."
Finally, regarding what he expects to see from Real Oviedo tomorrow at the Carlos Tartiere, the Coach commented that "we have to be a recognisable team and go for the win.  We have to get our second home victory tomorrow. I try to prove we have a distinctive way of playing at home.  We will try to find a balance.  We already know that the fans will carry us forward, and that we will be stronger because of it."
