Real Oviedo defender Rodri Tarín appeared before the media today to analyse yesterday's draw in Lugo. "It was a difficult match. They always make games uncomfortable. They took the lead from a set piece and that makes things very difficult. We managed to get a point. The team competed, but we needed to put together more cutting attacks and create more chances."
Asked about the team's league position with ten matches remaining, Tarín is keeping his cool, saying that "I feel calm about it. We had just won at home and now we've drawn away against a very tough opponent. Now we have to focus on being solid at the Tartiere. We have to stay calm, there are still a lot of points in play. We are very much alive and I still think we are capable of doing anything."
On a personal level, the defender explained that "I feel more comfortable at centre back, but I see myself as being able to play in several positions if the team needs me to do so." Happy on an individual level, in the team, and in the city, Tarín believes that everyone must keep their calm, rather than being "all or nothing depending on whether we win, lose or draw. We have to be a bit more stable in the medium term, we are on the right path. We have to value yesterday's point, because we got it away from home against a tough opponent. Now we have to focus on winning at home."
