Due to the heavy rain of the past few days, as well as the the weather forecast for the next 48 hours and the current state of the Carlos Tartiere pitch, Real Oviedo has been in touch with the Real Federación Española de Fútbol (Spanish Football Federation) and Real Sporting de Gijón. The club has requested that this Sunday’s match between the B team and Sporting B be postponed.
The Real Federación Española de Fútbol has just informed both clubs that the match has been postponed, and that an agreement will be made in the coming days regarding the date and time of the rescheduled fixture.
Real Oviedo fans who had purchased tickets for the match in question will be able to claim a refund of their ticket by visiting the office at the Carlos Tartiere from Monday.
Fans who prefer to hold on to their ticket ready for the new match date will be able to swap their current ticket for a new one once the new date and time is confirmed.
