The Real Oviedo once again demonstrated this Wednesday its strong social commitment with its traditional visit to the Asturias Penitentiary Center, an activity framed within the social initiatives promoted by the blue entity, through its Foundation, and aimed at fostering positive values through sports.

On this occasion, the first team football players David Costas, Alberto Reina, and Pablo Agudín shared a very special day with the inmates of the center, accompanied by the head of the club's Social Area, Miguel Sanz, and the team delegate, Gabriel Piquero.

During the visit, the representatives from Oviedo were able to see firsthand the facilities and the work carried out with the inmates, participating in a close encounter where they talked, exchanged experiences, and reflected on the importance of effort, personal improvement, and teamwork both on and off the field.

The day also included a tour of the center's sports areas, where the players shared relaxed moments with the participants, highlighting sports as a tool for social integration, improving physical well-being, and boosting self-esteem.

These types of actions reflect Real Oviedo's commitment to Asturian society, using football as a vehicle to convey fundamental values such as respect, coexistence, and solidarity. Through these kinds of meetings, the club continues to promote initiatives that bring the entity closer to different groups, reaffirming its vocation for service and its social responsibility beyond sports competition.

Real Oviedo thus maintains its commitment to actively participate in projects that contribute to personal and social development, consolidating the club's role as an agent committed to its environment and its people.
