This Thursday, March 26, coinciding with the celebration of Real Oviedo's 100th anniversary, the official centenary documentary, Pride, Courage, and Grit: 100 Years of Real Oviedo, produced by Informe Plus of Movistar, was presented at the Carlos Tartiere. The event marked the first public screening of a work conceived to preserve the emotional memory of the Club, telling its story through those who made it possible.
The premiere also included the attendance of the boys and girls who won the “100 Years of Real Oviedo Micro-Stories” contest. Under the question “What does Real Oviedo mean to you?”, they shared their values, their passion, and the unique connection they feel with the carbayón team.
A century later, Real Oviedo not only celebrates its history but also the strength of those who made it possible. From the legendary goals of Isidro Lángara to the eternal magic of Santi Cazorla, through generations of players who defended the badge with passion, the Club has survived critical moments and grown thanks to the dedication of its fans. That loyal fanbase, which stood by the team during its most difficult days, now becomes the protagonist of the celebration, demonstrating that the blue spirit transcends generations and that the motto “pride, courage, and grit” is not just a documentary but the living essence of Real Oviedo.
With this audiovisual piece, the Club highlights a century of history, memories, and emotions that have shaped its identity. A work that not only preserves the memory of its protagonists and their most iconic moments but also reflects the passion, resilience, and values that define Real Oviedo, consolidating its legacy and reminding us that every chapter of these hundred years is an essential piece of its blue history.
