Real Oviedo continues its schedule of activities during the centenary week with an event of great academic and sporting value. This Thursday, March 26, coinciding with the 100 years of history of the blue entity, the city of Oviedo hosted the Congress of Medicine and Sport, framed within the XIV International Congress in Sports Sciences organized by the University of Football of Pachuca.

For the first time, this prestigious meeting was held in the Asturian capital, establishing the blue institution as a benchmark not only in the sports field but also in the promotion of knowledge and specialized training.

The congress brought together prominent professionals from the healthcare and sports fields. Among the participants were representatives from the Medical Services of Real Oviedo, FC Barcelona, and Atlético de Madrid, creating a space for the exchange of experiences and advancements in sports medicine.

Additionally, the event included the presence of medical students from the University of Oviedo, as well as international students, reinforcing its educational and global dimension.

One of the most notable moments of the day was the keynote speech by Toni Nadal, a prominent figure in high-level sports, attended by representatives from all disciplines of Real Oviedo and its Foundation.

This initiative is part of Real Oviedo's commitment to the comprehensive development of sports and the generation of knowledge, during a historic week in which the entity celebrates a century of pride, trajectory, and unity with its city.
