This Tuesday saw a presentation in the Press Room at the Carlos Tartiere, where Ángel Montoro appeared before the media for the first time.
The latest signing was joined by the club's Director of Football Tito Blanco, who welcomed him and highlighted his willingness to join up with the project. "We are lucky and happy to have you here. You are a well-known player and with you here we will try to achieve ambitious objectives. Many different directors of football wanted you, but you've kept your word from the chat that we had, and it's something that I am grateful for."
For his part, the midfielder wished to "thank the club for its sustained interest", highlighting that "at the start of July I was told about the option of coming to Real Oviedo. I was excited by the project and I'm here with ambition and hunger. Now I hope to be able to repay that confidence on the field and make people happy."
Finally, regarding his first day at El Requexón, Ángel Montoro admitted that "I've been told great things about the group. I've received a great welcome and that's something to be grateful for."
