Real Oviedo attacker Paulino de la Fuente appeared in the Press Room at the training ground this morning, talking to the gathered members of the media. He began by stating that "it was a difficult match, because they had a lot at stake. It's a victory that confirms the good feeling that we've had in home matches and in a lot of the away ones too, Valladolid aside. We are still up at the top of the table, fighting for everything."

The victory against Albacete was very important for Carrión's side, but now it's time to think about Racing de Santander. Paulino explained that "whatever happens on Saturday we will be alive and kicking. If we got a third consecutive victory, and this time at home against a promotion rival, it would be very important mentally and as a team."

He then added that "I really value the team's character. The Gaffer has a way of playing that we will defend to the death. We need to have enough character in order to be able to manage both the good and the bad moments. That will be very important in this final stage of the season."

The match against Racing de Santander is an important one for Paulino, who didn't hesitate in saying "it's a very special match for me. I was there in the academy for years. I'm really looking forward to it. They have match-winners in the attack. We have to stop them. At home we have to win. All of us need to show character."

Finally, the winger wished to dedicate a few words to Álex Millán following his return from injury.
"It was very special for me. It's tough to arrive at a club where there are expectations and to get that injury right at the start. I don't know how I would react. I've seen him working every day, angry because he wanted to come back as soon as possible, but never getting down."
