Real Oviedo has reached an agreement with footballer Pablo Sáenz to become a new player for the blue entity until June 2028.

The player, 25 years old, was born on May 22, 2001, in San Adrián (Navarra). Trained in the youth categories of CD Calahorra, and after a brief stint at CD Alfaro, the forward signed with Granada CF. Despite playing for the reserve team in that first season, Sáenz made his debut with the first team on the final matchday of the 2023/2024 season in La Liga against Girona FC.

After playing 23 matches the following season, the footballer moved to Albacete Balompié on loan to continue progressing in his professional career. Following his time with the Manchego team, the forward returned to the Andalusian side to play over 1,600 minutes this season, scoring five goals and providing four assists.
