Ortuño: "We are going to be deciding the season without our fans there"

Real Oviedo forward Alfredo Ortuño today appeared in the latest press conference from home, responding to the questions put to him by the media:
With over a month of quarantine having now passed, how are you, and how has the experience been with a baby at home?
- Having spent a month in lockdown, the person having the worst time of it is my girl; she misses going outside.  She liked going to the park and seeing different things. She's only little and liked going out, but we are going to be fortunate enough to start going out again soon and slowly go back to normal.
What do you think of the protocol proposed to be followed for the return to training and, subsequently, to league fixtures?*
- I think that we have to comply with it and take it seriously.  The smallest error could ruin the whole season, but complying with the protocol won't be easy.  We have to stay focused and do it as well as possible to finish the season, since that's what we all want to happen.
How do you think the return to 'normality' will be when you can resume training?
- We'll call it normality, but it is going to be strange.  Time to train alone, then in groups, and then together.  I'm just like the rest of my teammates in that what we like most is training together and being able to spend the mornings talking about football, and training alone is one of the ugliest things in football.  We have to make this sacrifice and the sooner we start to train together, the better for the team.
Would you be in favour of only starting to play again when fans are allowed into the stadium?*
- I'm in favour of finishing the competition.  I think we have to respect the rules put in place by the government and LaLiga.  I think it's difficult for them to let fans in, since they are huge gatherings of people; almost 20,000 people at the Tartiere, for example.  The most important thing is finishing LaLiga, and all of us have to comply with what they're telling us so that we can get back to playing at stadiums as soon as possible.
Have you ever played behind closed doors?  How do you think you will feel?
- I've never played behind closed doors before.  It's going to be strange for everyone.  We notice a difference between training sessions and matches.  The fans push us on and know what we are playing for, and it's all going to be 'colder'.  We are going to be deciding the whole season and we won't have our fans there with us."
Have you reached any conclusions during these weeks of lockdown?  What have you missed the most?
- I've taken some conclusions from it.  I've thought, moved some things around in my head and set new ideas and objectives.  I've made the most of it mentally in order to work out my priorities.
