Jonathan Dubasin was today officially presented as a new Real Oviedo signing in the Press Room at the Carlos Tartiere this lunchtime. Club President Martín Peláez and Managing Director Agustín Lleida joined the Spanish-Belgian attacker for his presentation to the media.
"Having seen the club that Real Oviedo is you have no doubts. This is a big club and fanbase and I didn't hesitate in coming. I am coming here to help and to contribute as much as possible. There is a great squad and they are helping me a lot. I hope to help as much as I can out on the pitch."
Asked about the club and what he knows about Real Oviedo, Dubasin highlighted that "I've been following the club and it's in great form right now. Now we have to work as hard as we can to make the fans happy. It's a great stadium, great fanbase, and great club, and that made the decision to come here very easy."
"I'm good at breaking into space. Getting in behind the defence is when I feel most comfortable and when I am at my best. The main target now is to work hard each day, since that is what has allowed the team to be in good form. There's a good squad and that is the most important thing. That is what helps you to win a lot of matches."
Following the words from the winger, Agustín Lleida and Martín Peláez took to the microphone. The President first took the chance to "thank Jonathan for his willingness, because he was always clear that he wanted to come." He then moved on to discuss the new training ground, explaining that "there has always been good will but not much done. That's the reason we are stopped. We are really excited to move forward and we have the Council's willingness, but we would like there to be more done instead of just good will."
