Real Oviedo and CD Arenteiro have reached an agreement for midfielder Álex Cardero to join the Galicians on loan until the end of the season.
The young player joined the club in the Under-7 age group, and made his way all the way up to making his first-team debut. The player worked with the first team this campaign, under the orders of Luis Carrión, and scored his first goal in the most recent LaLiga Hypermotion match against Villarreal B, allowing Los Carbayones to rescue a point at La Cerámica.
The midfielder is now joining the Galicians on loan, as he looks to continue growing and developing as a player. CD Arenteiro, who were in Grupo 1 of the Segunda RFEF with Real Oviedo Vetusta last season, are currently playing in Primera RFEF following promotion. They sit in tenth place, with 23 points.
