Real Oviedo's latest signing, Hugo Rama, was officially presented this Wednesday at the Carlos Tartiere.
The Galician was joined by Rubén Reyes as he appeared before the media, with the club's Director of Football welcoming him to his new home.
Regarding his arrival at the Asturian club, Hugo Rama highlighted that "when a club like this one phones you, with the aspirations that Real Oviedo have, it makes it easy to decide. I am delighted, happy, and looking forward to helping the team."
Having now spent his first few hours in Oviedo, and following his first training session with his new teammates, the midfielder admitted that "I've still not spoken to the Gaffer yet, but I'll have time to talk with him this week. I had medical tests today. I am happy here, and today I felt like I'd been training here for a week already. If I'm able to contribute at the weekend then I'll be delighted to do so."
Asked about his positional preferences, Hugo Rama stated that "I'm always comfortable in any position from central midfield forwards. I want to help the team and enjoy playing in front of the fans. I am at a historic club which is looking to grow. I can see myself reflected in it. I want to continue growing and demonstrate my footballing ability."
Finally, regarding the team he is arriving at, Hugo Rama believes that "we have a great squad which is having a very good season. I'm coming here to help."
After the new signing had finished speaking, Rubén Reyes addressed the gathered media, analysing the transfer window as a whole.
