The Real Oviedo first team today went back to training at El Requexón, following yesterday's victory over Amorebieta, as preparations begin for Friday's match against CD Mirandés.
Those players who played a larger portion of yesterday's match completed a recovery session today, while the rest of the squad went through a more intense workout. The main news from this morning at El Requexón was the presence of Javi Mier out on Pitch 4, with the academy graduate starting to sprint and run with the ball as he recovers from injury. B team player Joselu Guerra also trained with the first team under Cuco Ziganda today.
The first-team squad will enjoy a rest day tomorrow, before going back to work at 10:30 on Tuesday at El Requexón.
