The highlight of the latest weekend’s matches for Real Oviedo’s youth teams was the victory of the Juvenil A side in A Madroa against Celta Vigo, which saw Oviedo remain second of Group I of the División de Honor.

Sunday afternoon saw Match 33 of the Third Division, with Real Oviedo Vetusta facing Gijón Industrial. Juan Fidalgo’s side managed to recover from the goals they conceded in the first half and secure a 3-3 draw in the final minute of the clash. Javi Álvarez, Héctor and Iván Conceiçao grabbed the goals for Oviedo.  This match saw the debuts of Eloy and Iván Conceiçao for the club’s B team, with both moving up from the club’s youth teams. Next Matchday will see Vetusta play TSK Roces at El Requexón training ground.

The club’s top youth team, Juvenil A, won 4-0 away at Celta Vigo with goals from Josín, Viti, Prendes and Javi. The side is second of Group I of the División de Honor, with one point less than the leader, Racing Santander.

Juvenil B secured a 4-2 victory away at UD San Claudio.  Sandoval, Carlos and Juancho (2) were on the scoresheet for Los Azules.

Goals from Enol and Serrano gave Real Oviedo’s Cadete A side a 2-1 victory against Arenal.

Meanwhile Cadete B secured a 4-0 against San Claudio.  This victory secured the team’s place at the top of the league, with a 7 point lead over second placed Quirinal.

Real Oviedo’s Infantil A managed to win emphatically against Manuel Rubio, 18-0.  Gonzalo, Iker, Álvaro, Pablo, Luismi, Mateo, David and Llorian were all on target in this game.

Infantil B drew 1-1 against Covadonga, with Iván hitting the back of the net for Oviedo.

Real Oviedo’s Alevín A side were victorious by 8 goals to 0 against Tapia.  Oviedo´s goalscorers were Mario, Carlos, Nico, Mario and Nacho (4).

Alevín B meanwhile won 7-0 away at Fozaneldi with a hattrick for Sergio, a brace for Mauro and a goal apiece for Mael and Adri.

Real Oviedo’s Benjamín A team won 3-0 at Covadonga with goals from Mauro, Nícolas and Unai.  They are top of their league, four points ahead of their nearest challenger, Sporting de Gijón.

Benjamín B triumphed 5-2 against Centro Asturiano D with Farpón, Martín, David and Martín Muñiz (2).

Real Oviedo’s Prebenjamín A side lost 5-2 against Escuela de Fútbol de Mareo, with consolation goals from Romeo and Antón.

Prebenjamín B defeated Colegio Loyola by 5 goals to 2.  Alex, Darío and Adri (2) managed to get on the scoresheet.
