Real Oviedo left back, Jose María Angresola, “Mossa”, appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón after the team had trained behind closed doors this  morning.

With a new week of work now underway, the Valencian believes that, “victories give you confidence for your work, particularly when they come away from home. We go into the next game knowing that it’s a very tough ground to go to, and that we need to work and go looking for three more points.”

With respect to the work that Real Oviedo are doing ahead of the clash at the Carranza, the full back admitted that, “we are focusing on the defence because it’s important. We can’t overreact. We have conceded a few goals, but we have also got four points. We are doing very well offensively.”

Asked about the signing of Oswaldo Alanís, Mossa said that, “I didn’t know him, but I hope he adapts well and adds to the group. It’s important to have international players and for them to add something extra to the squad. It’s good for the group and we hope he improves us.” In addition, regarding the extensive media coverage of the signing, the full back commented that, “I try not to look much further than what happens on the pitch. What we do here is the important thing. If it’s good for the club then it’s very welcome.”

Talking about the Cádiz match, the Carbayón defender admitted that, “we are going to one of the most difficult away grounds. We approach the match in the same way; with complete respect. We have to focus on ourselves and on our game. They have players with quality, and they are dangerous and quick. We have to concentrate and give them as few chances as possible.”

Asked about the differences between this season’s Real Oviedo and last year, Mossa highlighted that, “this year we have players who want the ball, and you notice this. The Coach is working on us building from possession of the ball, and that’s making us very comfortable.”

Finally, with the end of the transfer window imminent, Mossa believes that, “all the teams have strengthened as best they can. We have to take it week by week. All of the opponents are difficult and it’s going to be tough to get the three points,” concluded the Valencian.
